Artist's Biography:
My name is Kathleen Stead and I was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from McMaster University In Hamilton and have taken art courses at Lakehead University and have a Masters Degree from Gonzaga University. The Elk Valley became my home in 1979, when I moved her from Thunder Bay. I love to paint and have a passion for photography and pottery. I also have taught art in high schools for 25 years - in Thunder Bay, Calgary, Sparwood and Fernie.
